At some point in the early 00’s, El Paso power trio Airplanes Are Better made an appearance at a tiny bar in Las Cruces, NM called The Club, which was known internally as “The Red Door” by members of the band. Myself, and a handful of others, were lucky enough to be there to witness the energetic onslaught of a band fully in their stride, and luckier still, I had my “new” Super 8 camera in tow. As part of the digital re-release of the band’s sole 3 song EP, I decided to transfer the footage from tape to my computer, and edit together this video for the band’s song “Adam Gauges The Apple”.
